Looks like mule deer because it mostly stands straight up, whities usually curl more.  :twocents:

Also whities usually have taller eyeguards.

Sounds like mule deer is the consensus.  I thought so too, but I only saw whitetails in that area while hunting which made me second guess it.

A lot of times whitetail live on what mule deer only winter on
