Only took 6 years but finally drew Wenaha.
Took my dad and I 6 years last time we had this tag, got luck this year.  Usually takes us 5 and 6 years, have fun and good luck.

Not selected for bear.  But for some strange reason I now have a lot of youth, Master Hunter and 65 and over points.  Even though I don't fall into any of these categories.  Odd.

The new system shows you all the categories, back when they expanded the categories they put what points you had across the board.  So you can't add points to those categories but some day when you turn 65+ or become disabled, they will be waiting for you.

I got the Aladdin and wife got Sherman. It will be interesting to see what is happening up in these areas with the winter we've had. I'm thinking a later spring hunt (End of May/early June) might be better?...

Yeah Just don't waste your time hunting early. The snow limits access. It took me from April 15th to the 26th just to find a bear and kill him. I would at least hunt Turkey for 2 days and scout access and glassing spots. Then hunt for bears Mid May. This is my  :twocents:. Good Luck I will be hunting Kelly Hill.

Call Bearpaw outfitters. He'll put you on bears.
