forward assist would be on the upper.

I know that. I was wondering if not having a forward assist would make it different from an AR 15 which has one.
forward assist can be had or not had on either the ar10 or the ar15. It does not differentiate what model rifle it is
Admittedly, I know little about different AR platforms. The last time I used anything like an AR 15 was the m16 almost 40 years ago. I thought for sure that the guy who helped me build it told me it was a 10. So I was mistaken. That's why I started this thread to make sure. I thought I'd get info from guys who knew better than I.
if that's the case, he is obviously in error..but yeah, could be the vodka..
I'm sure I misunderstood him. Funny, until yesterday I never noticed "PA15-Multi" stamped on the lower and I was the one who put the lower together. I'm old and feeble but I can still shoot straight.

I'm sure Biggerhammer knows the difference between platforms.

Nice subtle dig by mtnman though.

Yeah, the "subtle digs" kinda hit me as absurd after I posted this and had admitted ignorance of the topic. It's one of the things that turns new people off about this site. Bare your soul and get kicked in the hole. Nice!

Is your trigger a flat trigger with a little hook on it or a curved one.?  I'd really like to know if it's a CMC trigger because that is the only part save the stock that I know is interchangeable.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I thought for a long time I'd bought and put together an AR10 - my first build. I have been told on the Grendel site that it is in fact an AR 15. I look at the lower and it ways PA 15-Multi. Also, it doesn't have a forward assist. Can anyone tell me if this lower is the same size as the regular AR 15 lower? What about the forward assist? Does that make a difference? I love shooting it. I just am pretty ignorant about ARs.
It's an ar 15... I've found it amusing that you insisted it was an AR10 but you had enjoyed a few grapefruit juice and vodkas! Lol
no "dig" intended lol.
