« on: June 23, 2009, 08:39:17 AM »
Hi folks, I just drew a 2nd deer tag for this area. Does anyone know anything about this specific area of GMU 124? The tag is valid dec 9th- 31st. Any info very much appreciated.

inland empire paper company or talk to landowners. should be a cake walk. if nothing else find a piece of property and start a corn pile and watch them flock!!! :IBCOOL:

I do!!! I drew the same tag last year.  Here's how you to do it: take four days, drive over there, talk to landowners, meet people, and drive the area. Same for every GMU.

BTW- Here is from the WDFW biologist for Spokane County( GMU 124)

Impacts to white-tailed deer in District 2 from our long and protracted winter and near record snow fall appear to have been spotty In some areas, the numbers seem similar to 2007, while in other areas, the numbers of deer may have been reduced slightly. However, so far this year’s production seems to be generally pretty strong, with a surprisingly high number of twins. So, I expect opportunity in District 2 to be similar to that in 2007.
