Wow. Lots of nice whitetail bucks coming out of the woodwork here. Welcome to the site Chad.

I heard that in the Palouse the bucks like to hide in the back of your pickup.... :P

And yeah, Pathfinder, you probably know that all you have to do is head for the Snake on the opener and park under a steep bank. Once that army of orange is in full march, a buck will eventually just fall right in the back of the pickup. All you gotta do then is get out and take a picture. It's awesome. In fact, I can't believe more guys don't head for the breaks on the opener. :chuckle:

I'll have to try that one next fall... I think I am usually in the army of orange :chuckle:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Good idea.  I hunted it when I went to WSU.  Nothing like hearing what seems to be 100 gun shots before noon.  It's a wonder a buck lives past opening day on the breaks.  You find out real fast if your a bad shot, because your shot alearts the guys on the breaks then the hail of bullets start to fly as the deer is fleeing.  Best hit the dirt.

Easy on the Snake, I want to actually hunt this year instead of chasing down road hunters.  Our place is right on one of the main drags and it is a pain in the arse.....last year was actually nice - $4.00 gas made road hunting too expensive!

Hacksaw, one of my best friends farms the "big hill" in the background.  Thank god the big boys stay up there with you guys running around!  :chuckle:
