Bowhunterforever,
Sorry it took me so long to reply.  That's my modern buck from last year.  First year rifle hunting this state in about 12 years.  Thought I'd try something different.  We didn't see alot of bucks but did see a couple really nice ones.  This was the only one i had a real chance at because of all the private land up there.  It was the last day of the hunt, we had been there for 4 days.  The rut seemed to be starting just as the season was ending.  He was chasing a couple of does in a draw when I shot him at about 150 yards with my 260 Remington with 120 grain Ballistic tips.  He only took about 2 steps and piled up. I have to admit that it was pretty cool seeing how different the whities rut than the mulies, definetly seem to be alot more territorial with their scrapes and rubs.
