Wow, I am shocked that the one guy had never been in trouble before and the other only a couple of times.  With that many traps and how old they were I would have to think they have been doing this for a very long time.  I guess they could have just ramped up their activities when they retired.

Man that is a lot of traps.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Mostly snares and with two guys I can see it being doable but you would have to be a go getter with a 24 hour check.
The thing that seems off is what they confiscated from these guys amounted to not much. I think they need some lessons on location.

I would bet good money it wasn't a 24/7/365 investigation for 2 years.

In WA prosecutors have two years to file charges on gross misdemeanor charges. An LEO could contact someone poaching a deer today and not send the report in till March 2019, is that a 2 year investigation?
