Nice job, I've been thinking of making one also. I mounted one flat on a plaque, but it think I prefer the look of the style you did. What degree of angle did you use?

I used a 45 degree angle ,i was doing the angle by eye to try and get the horns to be up right spot but found 45 put it real close .Wife said I made it out to far from wall,but it kinda just jumps out at ya I think.

That one is nice looking ,what kind of wood did you use , and how did you get the lighter color around the edge.

its just a piece of pine from Home Depot I burnt with a torch then routered after.
