That is awesome!!! I have a buddy that did the same thing to his three pigs.....Raised them as pets.....but one day called me up and asked me to bring my 30-06....I didn't ask any questions....but when I got there and he told me to start shooting his pet pigs, I handed him the rifle and told him to go to town!! Made great sausage and bacon though!!!
Also, his chicken pen got tore up and about 50 chickens were out running through the orchard....we had a GREAT time hunting down the birds for about 2 weeks....And believe it or not...the last 10 or so got pretty smart!!! LOL Took me back to the time of just being a boy using our pellet guns to hunt! Home raised chickens make for great hunting when there is nothing else to do!!! LOL

This pic reminded me of that, and made me laugh!!! Good work!!! Nice Harvest!!! LMAO

Why a .06?  I kill two pigs each spring, .22 between the eyes and they look like a ton of bricks on their way down!!  .06 must have been more fun!  :)

your buddy doesnt live anywhere near the umptanum does he we found a coupla "wild" chickens right in the bottom of umptanum canyon this past september my dad and i tried to catch them but no luck, my stepmom was laughed her ass off when she saw me tearin off through the brush after those things, and there was a rooster and two hens so maybe in a few years therell be a whole flock :chuckle: :chuckle:

Sorry to say but that were not our chickens.....ours got out up here in Cashmere! But maybe...just maybe....they are spreading around the state!! Who knows....we might get Chicken season here shortly!!! LOL

Imagine the post on here after that happens......"Look at the size of the ____ I got!" LMAO!!! What a world!
