Great, now WDFW will probably say that Sherman doesn't have a pack because the hierarchy is in flux.   :bash:
Exactly.  Lots of people excited to see this wolf dead, but in reality its going to be bad for us.  Breeding pairs are the currency for wolf recovery and management.

It's cute you still think wolves will ever recover and be managed in WA.

I look at it as a 2 way street. Good, we've got one less wolf. Bad as we just took one step away from delisting.

They'll never delist and allow hunting. That's a fairy tale.

My take on it is fact though. You can't dispute that.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

IF WDF&Wolves would have been truly interested in managing wolves they wouldn't have come out with the worst wolf plan of all time, and even with the 15 bps they could have delisted several years ago. So delisting is a joke on the people of WA who will and are paying the price of a corrupt WDFW and their lawyer fill fake environmental partners.

Spending money on study after study that has already been done by others, and coming up with a solution that fits their agenda. When the wolves etc. have depleted the game herds the blame will be placed on lack of corridors and habitat. And the games will start all over again. :twocents:

Some of you guys that are expressing so much passion towards this cause should consider attending one of the meetings I posted about earlier this week. Almost no comments in this thread.

You can bet the wolf lovers will be there in force.

I would have tried to and then got it mounted.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Since the Profanity pack had been ear marked to be removed and had cost all of us close to 120K. I'm not sure it is that much of a loss. WDFW suspended the aerial hunting the Wednesday before the opening of general deer season in the unit. There are possibly 4 sub adult's last year who are now perhaps roaming in the area. Time will tell if they are all gone.
