Putting the Rifle down.
« on: February 03, 2008, 12:59:46 PM »
Hello everyone, :hello:, and let me start by saying thank you!
I just bought my first bow yesterday. An 07 Mathews Switchback, with a 5 pin spot hog sight, and a trophy hunter fall away rest. I have Rifle hunted the past 7 years since i started hunting. I shot my uncle's and cousins bow a couple of times over the past couple of years, but the past month i have been shooting my uncles old Mathews 3d vapor. I am addicted beyond belief. I shot a league competition for the first time, last Thursday using a buddies bow. I shot a 171 out or 200 for my first round. I play highshcool sports, like baseball, but all i want to do right now is devote all my time and money into my bow, to get fully prepared for  the upcoming season.lol. I hope i can help out the sport/lifestyle in every way possible over my lifetime. It is something i know i will enjoy my entire life to come!... thank you to all that have kept archery alive for me to experience and get into :)   hope to  have many good conversations with many of you.

Thanks. I just thought it would be a good title, i still love to shoot my rifle, and i will still rifle hunt, just depends maybe i'll do bow elk, rifle deer. Im just i don't know, creating an obsessive compulsive disorder with my bow.
