Had big plans for an lq4 twin turbo but a 3 and 5 year old are keeping me too busy......it has a warmed up 350 with vortec  heads for now.

Let me know if those kids decide that you need to sell that car!

Took 5 years to build, drove it for 11 years, only put 2500 miles on it that time. After a 7-8 years salmon fishing and camping always won out over driving the 35 Ford. Sold it a couple years ago to a guy in Puyallup. Was fun but don't miss the endless hours of details and polishing.

I can post some pictures tonight. My hot rod project is a 79 C-10 shortbox with factory 454 and turbo 400. Engine has been fully rebuilt, bored .30 over, higher compression pistons, new oval port heads, big cam, Edelbrock intake, and rebuild of the factory Quadrajet carb. Looks like a few others on here are working on older C-10s. Cool trucks! Someday my 79 will have the nostalgia factor as the older trucs in this thread.

My dad and I got that far with it, but still need to put the engine back in the truck. Then off for paint, wheels and tires, and it will be done. Fun times! My grandpa was the original owner of the truck, but he passed away in 1994 after getting stage 4 lung cancer. My grandma kept it around as an extra vehicle, and when i turned 16 in 2003, she sold it to me for $1000. It had less than 100,000 original miles, so is in great shape.

Only have finished photos. 67 Chevelle is the wife's grocery getter. It has a 502 to make sure she gets home before the ice cream melts. The 57 Buick was my dad's.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
