Just finished this project this summer. 1st time on the road after 60 years.

Very cool!
Is it stock? If not I would Rat that bad boy out,  :chuckle:

Looks like a little aftermarket work done to that.  Nice ride.

No far from stock, it has a 1959 389 Pontiac Motor, it is channeled, has freched in tail lights and custom back bumper with the gas tank moved into the trunk. 9 inch rearend and a tremec 500 5 speed tranny.

If I had a dollar for every restoration job that went from a driver to a showroom beauty I'd have my own hot rod! Looks good!

Thanx!! Almost ready for paint (3more weeks or so) have all the new suspension here at the house ready to go in. Going to take all the original out next week- under coat it and bolt in right before top coat. Converting to 4 wheel disc , rack and pinion steering and Hotchkis 2” drop all around and 18” aluminum rally’s

That's awesome.
I'm hoping to start the engine build this weekend. I also have coil.overs, Ford 9" posi, tremec tkx, 4 wheel disc brakes to.do. Mine got a chin lift, 4" cowl hood and new trunk lid for Xmas. New carpet and headliner are sitting in storage. One the running gear and suspension are done I'm going to start in on body and paint and a new vinyl top.

Awesome looks sweet!! Is that the original color??
4” cowl because all the cool stuff wouldn’t fit under? I found a factory 69 2” cowl still in the box I picked up

Yes car was/is hugger orange and had a black vinyl top. Basically the hood is to fit what's eventually going in there. Not going to be much space even with it that much taller.

Been busy on our 69, getting it ready for the late summer cruises. Currently have the passenger quarter off, trunk pan cut out, and tail panel removed. The new has been hung, but need to make a few mods before they go on permanently. Fenders, valance, and header panel are in the garage ready to go on once the hard stuff is done. Hoping to be spraying epoxy 2nd week of April, then dash and wiring in between sanding and getting ready for base and clear. Plan is to have the car together by august for some shake down runs, then heading to Long Beach for the rod run in September! Motor will wait until winter or the 396 gives up the ghost.

I really love those old Camaros!!!

You guys need to finish them up and then tire of them so I can take it off your hands.

Dan, you’ll have to pry this one from my wife’s cold dead hands (I’m assuming she is going to outlive me)
