South Sound Longbeards Banquet March 28
« on: February 20, 2009, 04:21:06 PM »
The South Sound Longbeards (Tacoma) Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) is holding our 11th annual Hunter Heritage Banquet March 28 at the Puyallup Fairgrounds Expo Hall.

I posted details in the "Events" area which can be accessed here http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,21136.new.html#new.

We have lots of great prizes (bow, gun safe, guns, hunts, etc.) this year so check it out!

I have attached a registration form at the bottom of this post.  Hope to see some of you there.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Just a reminder the deadline to be entered in the "Early Bird" raffle for a chance at $200 in raffle tickets at the banquet is March 14 so if that is an incentive for you, please sign up right away!  We will sell tickets to the dinner right up to the last minute but we like to get a headcount early for planning the meals, seating, etc.

For a list of all the great items available, click here http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,21136.0.html

A registration form is attached.  If you plan to attend, please send me a PM because I would like to meet you.  I can also save you a seat at my table, if you like.

Thanks!

That's funny.  His schedule is all messed up so he probably won't be able to attend this year.  His family likely won't be able to attend either.  The bad news is they always spend lots of money so our take will be down.  The good news is they ALWAYS win a gun so there is one more up for grabs this year!

Sorry you won't be able to make it this year.  Where do you plan to be for the opener?  I'll be headed NE so let me know if you plan to be over that way and maybe we can hook up.  Not sure what Jeff's plans are but he'll probably be there too.

Ya I know he is on a weird schedual now.  I have left him several messages cause I cant reach him.
I remember the first year I came down to your guys banquet to help out and won a new 870... Jeff was giving me the evil eye......LOL.  Love Banquets, as I have had great luck winning new guns with little out of pocket.

Ya I plan on being over there, just a little south of Jeffs local area.  We should all hook up for dinner !
