I enjoy it because it gives me something to tinker with. I've not gotten to the point of chasing the FOC number much but I like having my setup unique to me. Weight is my target in builds and trying to get there in the simplest way possible with how I fletch my arrows.

Cresting family Robertson Hunting Tartan. Shafts are Easton traditional wood grain carbon, 476 grains with spliced feathers.p

Bought a saw and jig just after I started shooting a bow. I like building and fixing my own stuff.   Nothing to do with tuning a bow or building an arrow is difficult if you take a little time to learn.

It's a good feeling to harvest animals with arrows you have built. I've found Bitzenburger fletching jigs are one of the best easy to set up holds the fletching very well
