What are you using it for? If it is a hunting scope, I would say the Vortex Viper HST or PST (PST is illuminated). If you are looking for a hunting scope, I would strongly recommend at least checking out the Vortex Razor HS LR. Awesome glass, lightweight, and they have a really good hunting reticle. I just looked thru one last night, and I am sold!

I'll give my vote to the Viper PST, Viper PST Gen 2, or the Viper HST, I own the Viper PST and HST and all I have to say is you can't go wrong with either  Vortex is the only optics I use anymore, and there is a reason for that: they are not only the best IMO but also the most affordable, and most bang for your buck. The only difference between the HST and PST is the illuminated reticle, which I really like on the gun that has my PST on it, it helps a lot with seeing in darker conditions and at longer ranges, and is a great feature. The reason I said the PST Gen 2 is because that is just the upgraded version of the PST so I imagine it's pretty nice as well! Anyway, those are the 3 I'd look at, you won't be disappointed with any of them, they are all top notch products

I just picked up a leupold VX6 3-18x50 and so far really like it. Fine duplex.
I like the idea of having 3 power and out to 18 if needed.
