The service was great. I was particularly touched by Kevin's brother and daughter speaking, and how many co-workers showed up and expressed what a wonderful man he was to work with. There were at least 200 people there and almost filled the church. It was appropriate that the chaplain of the WDFW, a former gamie, spoke as well as leading prayers. After hearing everyone speak about him, I wish I'd known him more personally. But from what they all said, his personality certainly came out in his posts and interactions on HuntWA. Without exception, he was described as positive, empathetic, loving, strong, utterly devoted to his family, outspoken on the things he cared about, absolutely addicted to the outdoors, a great supervisor. I hope people speak like that about me at the end of my days. I'm sure his family, in the midst of their grief, were not surprised but extremely proud of what was said. Thanks for allowing us to be there, Wolf family.
Wanted to make sure this was posted here so you all could see. We decided to name the turkey hunt that Dale donates to our youth in Iceman's memory. "Nock Nock" Chris made up this plaque and donated it to Dale for the youth turkey hunt this past weekend.
