Cool video to watch, kinda long so ill cut to it. If Stoner was alive today with all the "Stuff" that's out there what kind of AR would he make now as a general infantry rifle?
I think these guys are close except a few criticism, mostly the one they refer to as the "door kicker". If these rifles are meant for general use by all infantry a fixed stock would be a no no IMO. Between body armor, vehicles and different heights/ builds of soldiers an adjustable stock is a must. Next ALL rifles for serious use should have backup irons. Flash hiders should be suppressor capable. Also they should have ambi charging handles. Again sticking to general use to issue to ALL troops with as little modification as possible afterwards.
What do you guys think? What would Stoner make today? Anything these guys got wrong?
