Selected for deer & points only for elk. I'll get the deer tag so I can apply for rifle special permit hunts. We are also planning a muzzy deer hunt in Oct over on the eastside if unlucky in permit draws.

Niether .... Oh well ill just stand in line for the resale and get my deer , always lots of extras . So if i want to apply for a quality wetside elk rifle hunt , do I need to buy a wetside elk rifle tag first ? Or can I just apply ? Than buy a rifle tag if I was mysteriously drawn for some strange reason lol .

Deer here. No Elk with 4 points. No biggie with the purposed rifle cow tags for special permits. I'll stick (pun intended) with archery elk. I'll get the multi season deer tag, but will regret the money spent if our group draws a archery quality deer tag.    :twocents:

You'll need to buy your tag, east or west before the permit application process and you may only apply for permits on the side you choose, in the weapon category you choose.

Seems like quite a few folks are not being drawn for deer again this year. Perhaps that will be the new norm?   :dunno:
