I got deer which is almost a "gimme." Not selected for elk with 5 points. My time will come. Eventually

Almost is right! Not me this year.
Used to be a gimme ... not selected for elk or deer
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

That's ridiculous! 9pts! I felt jipped not drawing with 2pts.

First time applying, got deer but not elk!
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

Points aren't worth as much as you'd hope. Just luck of the draw sometimes.
