The eventual demise of this herd was discussed by many of us prior to the adoption of the outrageous wolf plan for WA. We raised the question in WDFW wolf plan meetings and letters to the commission. One "endangered" species was obviously chosen over another.

The sad thing is that wolves were not endangered, there were probably 60,000 wolves in North America when they imported the canadian wolves.
