Glad you got the bear back on camera. I've been in those shoes and getting a pic really eases the mind.

You working the damage area at all? I was thinking of going over and plowing another bear.

Not sure where that is?

Pretty much everything from moon pass south and from the border to the river.....plus or minus. It's the chep tag area.

Yes I've had a bait out there for 9 days, so far no action.  I have baited this spot 2 times before and it seems to take 10 to 14 days to finally get a hit and then the action seems to be non-stop.

How's the hunt going
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

It's been a bunch of fun.  I have passed on three bears so far.  Being a little picky.  Thinking I may change up the routine next weekend.  I have a huge boar coming in, but only at night, however every once in a while he swings by the bait from 5ish and grabs a snack, so I may try and slip in and be on the stand by 4.  Wind has been out of the absolute worst direction for all three of my bait locations the past couple of days.  I have had some really nice color phase bears this year, but nothing over 150ish.

Think I might be done for the spring, huge change in bear hides the past three days.  Almost all the bears coming into the bait have lost a LOT of hair.  :(

Not all of them, just a bunch of them.  I had 3 new bears show up last night, a nice sow with 2 red cinnamon cubs.  Hopefully where you are baiting they are still good to go.

You're one hard hunting son of a gun.  Sounds like you had a blast and I'm sure learned a lot.
