Thanks man. Did you draw a spring tag? If you did good luck to you. First time in the Wenaha/Blues. I'll be staying in Lewiston tonight if anyone is around.

Thanks! I think 4 days. We'll see how everything is with the snow

Using it as a mini vacation/scouting/hunting trip. Great place to eat right across the street with cold beers. Can't beat that!

Wow, that is a big bear here in WA, the average bear is 140 to 165.

Found some sign on the opener. No bears.  I'll keep looking though.

You certainly won't kill a toad if you shoot a smaller bear first!!  I hope you smack a big boy!!!

Limbhangerslayer sent me a photo of the bear.  I can't post it until I get home, but it IS a dandy bear.  I probably would have popped it myself, Kudos to him for holding out for a bruiser!

My eyes are calibrated to only see 300+ lb bears. :chuckle:

Lots of area to hunt already. Put a lot of miles on yesterday. Area I was hunting was further down than I expected. High water levels for river crossings. Managed to find a few areas to cross. Hiked in 5 hours and out 5 hours. Had to have been 12-15 miles. Amazing country. Saw one little blonde bear. Bunch of winter kill. Probably 4 elk one deer. Had a blast. Super stoked for warmer weather and snow melt up high.
