What pack do you use for hunting/packing out meat?

Couldn't agree more with both statements above! Like I said, I'm super stoked on this set up..
    I thought I'd just use the 7200 for everything, but on my AZ Mulie hunt, it was just too much for a day pack. It just wasn't easy to grab something right quick, the 1850 is perfecto for my needs.. Love it.

I have an exo 5500 and use it for backpack trips and day hunts. Love it and see no reason to switch anytime soon. If anything I will just upgrade to a newer model in a year or two.

I set up a zip line so I did not have to pack very far down steep slopes.

The sacrifice and the 2200 look like some real nice options for packing gear and also packing out a deer (not elk) ((I would be with atleast one friend who could help pack it out with his pack as well))

I have packed many animals out with a 2200. Not the best pack out there but no complaints at the price point.

Awesome TBar. Have you seen the Sacrifice pack? It hold about 1200more cubic inches of space and has the hypervent system to save you from sweating as much, it seems to have a lot of good reviews and it's at about the same price as the 2200

I also have packed many animals with a 2200.  The thing with them is that the torso doesn't adjust.  If you are under 6' I would be a little concerned.  With Badlands warranty I wouldn't be scared of a used one.  Just make sure it fits your torso.

So it's a tall pack so for me being 5'10 wouldn't be a good fit? What would make it less comfortable for a shorter guy?

Also has anyone here used the sacrifice pack? I love the idea but when I dug deep I read that the hypervent system is very poky when it's loaded heavy and pushes a bunch of pressure on your spine 😳.

I also found they redesigned it for this year the sacrifice LS and supposedly that is fixed..

You may be fine at five ten.  Torso length isn't always linked with height.  I'm just saying to be aware that it doesn't have an adjustable torso, and you may want to try one on first.

Fortunately I hunt with my wife so packing meat rarely is a problem.

I'll second the Tenzing. I've got the 6000. It's a bit heavier than some others but it is a workhorse.
