I Need a handheld spotlight. Recommendations?
« on: May 16, 2017, 12:03:21 AM »
Hey all, well my cheap QBeam rechargeable spotlight battery finally bit the dust and I think rather than fix it I'm going to look for a better one.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Depending on your budget. There is no better spotlights then light force. I have owned no less then 20 brands and probably 50 models before getting into light force about 10 years ago. You will never go back if you pick one up.
You can get them on ebay or all predator calls. They do rechargeable and direct plug in.

I have been let down by many spotlights mainly because of the length of time you can use it before it dies, then I bought this 50 dollar Stanley light from Walmart. It is crazy how bright it is and how far the beam goes. The most important feature is when it's plugged into the power port in my truck it runs continuously without dying which a lot of lights won't do.

Almost every hand held spot lite I have used has a SLA battery in them. Like all batteries they do go bad. It's a pretty easy fix with  a screw driver and basic mechanical skills. Batteries can be found at most battery shops.
