Hunting Boots
« on: May 16, 2017, 09:37:07 AM »
I have a really hard time finding hunting boots that fit right, may be some of you have the same experience?? my feet are 4E and products like Asolo, Kenetrek, Crispi and Meindl make it only to Wide.
I have Withe's here in Spokane make my working shoes but they are heavy!!! I could have them make me hunting boots but I don't really cozy up to the idea of hiking with that much weight.
I have currently a Scentlook pair that are a discontinued model and are wearing out.
Any other ideas????

Maybe give lathrop and sons a call. They're knowledge and expertise on boot foot is second to none. Not the cheapest route by any means but you get what you pay for imo.

:) I hear you, wear a 10 4E my self. I have some custom made WESCO boots, like Whites, but finding normal boots is nuts. You have to try them on because a 4E Danner is not the same as a 4E Redwing!! Even among Danners some are different!! :yike:
I found 4E Rainforest that fit a while ago but cannot wear heavy socks with them. Then you try buying bigger sizes and they are too long!!
good luck, hope you find some, when you do buy two pair.
