youth lake eastern washington

took my son down to liberty for the afternoon yesterday. couldnt buy a sunfish let alone catch one.  had a good time though  he got his chocolate milk and a bag of skittles so he was happy.  he wants to go fish again but he said not to liberty cause those fish dont bite his hook. he is only 3 so we gotta walk before we run.  was looking at taking him up to bear lake, a youth only lake north of spokane.  anyone fished it or know the layout of the park, fishing access

If your just wanting to get him on numbers. Silver lake has been full of small perch. the best thing you could do if you go is what you catch haul them off as well. That will reduce the population and then allow the others to grow.

Bear Lk has great access and is perfect for kids.  Stocked with rainbows.  Also many warm water species. Check out lucky duck pond in Springdale.  It is perfect for kids.
