 congrats to you sir. I'd buy a lot to ticket if I were you! :chuckle:  Thank you for sharing your epic awesome adventure. Did you eat any of this Bear? Just curious if they are any good.  I've heard that the interior grizzlies are good, about like black bears, but I don't know anyone who has eaten a coastal brown.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Then went to the fish and game to seal the hide and the sckull. They take a hair, tooth, and tissue samples. Then the measure the sckull.

Those teeth look pretty warn!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Yes the teeth are worn down! He's also missing one lower canine tooth. And the other lower one is cracked all the way thru. I will be curious what they age him at.

Congrats. I think you made the right choice. Things wear out, but those memories will last a life time.
Really cool.

Rolling up the bear to freeze the hide. Then we went to check out some mountain goats. I probably seen 25 or 30 that day. Maybe 50 total. It's hard to tell how big the mountains are but they are from sea level to 6000 feet. He tells me it takes one full day of hiking to get above timber line. Some day.....

Very cool! Where did you fly into, and where did the ferry drop you off? Congrats on a great hunt

I flew into Juneau. Then to the ferry to Haines. Then I took a charter plane from Haines to Juneau on the way back. It's very impressive country.

Did you mention who your guide was?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
