Nice!!  Good luck!  I put in a bait down in Unit 10 last week and only took it 4 days and it was getting hammered.

I'll be interested to see how it goes. I've never had much luck in June and July with baits. I figure once the elk calves start dropping the first week of June is when the bait is done.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

I still have them hammering my baits, my problem is none have any decent hair left.  I'm hoping for him down in that unit the hides are still good.

Well, no bear got brought home.
Dads bait did good, until they shot a chocolate color bear off it and we couldn't find it. Hate that. Even has another forum member bring in hounds, but by then scent was to warm. Unfortunately that's the way it goes sometimes.
My bait had bears, but there was never a pattern. Pics were are over, from 2:am to 9:am , 1: and 5:. And anywhere from 5:30-10:pm. The one I wanted came in at 8:47pm, that was within hours but just to dark for me to take the shot.
Uncles bait did ok. Had a pair coming in but then started coming in at night , then not at all.  He had a little guy a few evenings the last couple of nights.

Saw cool country, enjoyed the time spent just learning. It was my second year baiting, so lots of " will do this next year" of " won't do that again". Saw deer fawns and elk. Moose and turkey. Can't wait till next year. Enjoyed my kids being there.   Now back to work

Awesome photos!  Same as me this year.  I ended up passing on 3 medium sized bears.  Lots of fun!!
