Great advice everyone keep it coming!  What have you all be doing for rental cars an lodging?

We have stayed on the beach and up in the mountains.  I think I like the mountains better because we spend all day at the beach and the beach is never far from were we are staying.  Also, it seems like you can get more for your dollar in the hills because most people want to stay on the beach.

As far as rental cars, we have rented from the major chains at the airport and have also gone with the small private vehicle rentals.  We have found better deals through the privates but it's always kind of sketchy.  I like to have reservation in hand.

If you plan ahead a jeep and air fair don't have to be expensive. I think last time it was under $350 for the week in the jeep and about $600 for air fair....

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
