Machias let us have this little bottle baby at our house. It has been so much fun!! My daughter has done a great job of caring for Timmy the Lamb. He will be spoiled rotten I'm sure, no matter how hard I try. The whole cows milk was the ticket. He is doing so much better on that instead of the milk replacer.

Gusts up to 50 mph, snowing sideways, sure let's have triplet ewe lambs!! 😁 Glad she had them today, Monday night is supposed to get down to -1.  Finally done with Lambing season, 4 ewes had 10 lambs 6 ewe lambs and 4 ram lambs.  So far everyone is doing great.

HUGE shout out to Bigdave and his Daughter for taking in and raising this little ram lamb that was abandoned by Mom.  He was 3 weeks old on Friday.  He came home today and appears to be happy!!  :)

He’s a little butterball that looks very happy, how are you feeding him now?

He's being bottle fed whole milk, plus all the lambs are chowing down on Sweet COB and hay.  They are all doing great so far.

How much hay, and wet cob is he eating? I think I would still give him a couple bottles a day, he still pretty small. Don’t want to up set him stomach, and have him get scours.

He's been off milk for over a week, he's eating a ton of creep feed and hay.  I joined a Katahdin Sheep page on Facebook.  Several folks on there run a couple hundred ewes.  They all said the same thing the risk of bloat increases a bunch if you continue to bottle feed them after 30 days.  I stopped bottle feeding Timmy on day 31.  They all provide a creep area from 1 week on.  At the 30 day mark they all cold turkey them.   All 10 of the babies use the creep area a lot.
