My step son received a 30-30 just before his Grandpa died years ago, like you. I can only imagine his joy when he gets success with it. Congrats on the bear! Good work!

Well he ran across the road into the brush. I went in after him, walking up the hill, was really thick. I was thinking no way I'm gonna find him again then looked up as I about ran him over. He was just as sulrised to see me as I was him 😂

Thats so cool, my boys got a .30-.30 from their Grandpa (wife's side) this year and I thought about doing my spring bear hunt with it but wasn't man enough. That is super cool.
