looking at new shotgun

I'm looking at a new shotgun for the upcoming dove and duck season.  What I'm considering is one of three Browning shotguns, the 725 Field, the Citori CXS and the Citori Lightning.   My requirements are 7 1/2- 8 lb weight range, 3 inch chamber and close to a 60/40 pattern.   I shoot some max steel shot loads so that's why I want to hold close to an 8 lb gun and I don't need a 3 1/2 inch chamber and also those usually add another 1/2 to 3/4 lb that I don't want to tote around.

Any insight to any of those models?

If you can get over how ugly they are try shouldering a Cynergy.  I have a Citori and used to own a Cynergy as well.  Granted the Cynergy was a waterfowl model with 3.5" chambers, but the gun felt and shot great and was a very soft shooter as well.  It's one shotgun I wish I hadn't sold...  Compared to the Citori the best way I can describe it would be a little smaller framed.  The Cynergy also has a mechanical trigger vs. an inertia.  Not that I've ever had a problem with an inertia trigger though.

Can’t go wrong with a Browning.  I have a Citori Trap Special 12g – 2 ¾” chamber.  Beautiful deep bluing and wood, very solid, quality gun.  I doubt if it ever be worn out.  It’s the kind of gun that you pass down to your grandchildren.  It’s never had a hiccup of any kind.  I expect any of the Citori line would be of similar quality.  Just make sure that it fits.

The nice things about Browning is the stock dimensions seem to be made with me in mind.
