Peaches is a good unit, but for archery I would possibly consider hunting the naches side. It is steep and has been really logged over in the past years, but not so much on the naches side.
Peaches Ridge is a good unit for quality bulls and would be my first choice. I am going to put in for peaches ridge(1st choice) if I get the multi season permit. I have 5 points and they give out a good number of archery tags. I just can't go back to the eastside for general season, I feel you have a better chance of harvesting a yeti than a spike on the east side Good luck on the draw, hope you get a masher!
Colock, for you I'd give a discount...only one arm, and maybe one eyeball just to make things interesting.
I saw a guy on tv who could draw his bow with his teeth...pretty good shot too.
I can't believe everyone talking about Peaches being a great hunt, it blows. Put in for any other unit but Peaches I wouldn't waste my points. It's full of quad hunters, call-shy bulls if you can find one, tweekers and Obama fans. Look elsewhere for a good elk hunt!
