If it were me, I'd be shooting a 200 grain Accubond out of it. Sighted in 2 1/2 inches high at 100 yards would provide the most optimum trajectory. It would look about like this:http://www.biggameinfo.com/index.aspx?page=%2fbalcalc.ascx
Ok, I am trying to figure something out. I know that the 300 rum is awesome for long range shooting, but not all of my shooting is going to be at 500+ yards. This got me to thinking about point blank range and the best load to push it to the max. What do you guys think would be the best load and sight-in to max out point blank range?
If this is what you are after.....the 200 is not what you want to use. You want a bullet that is light and will hold together for close shots. Tripleshocks will do just that. The 130 is a horrible long range bullet in 30 cal, but you asked for point blank.
So what would the MPBR be for the 130?Quote from: haugenna on February 17, 2009, 10:21:07 PMIf this is what you are after.....the 200 is not what you want to use.
