What came to mind when I saw that is the topics on here:  The various questions about what kind of short arm you should carry if accosted by the animal in question. Honestly I am not sure any one of the gun slingers are that fast to be able to draw and dispatch the cougar.

Are you suggesting that the endless debate over which caliber and round for self defense against a lion ambush was all for not?
