Yeah 5 people out of 11,627 got drawn because they were in a group of 2,great odds.I stand by what i said and not gonna bs other hunters into thinking its a good idea.

I ALSO DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF MY OP.

PS Thanks for posting the graph it helped prove my point.
Actually, it pretty much proved his point.

By the way, the OP didn't say anything about odds or if it was a good idea. He just asked if it had been done.

And i said that people probably don't do it on purpose to get drawn.People put in group all the time thinking they wont get drawn but if they do hit the lottery ok.if you put in for group hunt moose you will have a long wait.his graph proves that.5 people out of over 11k applicants got drawn in group.I bet the op wanted to know more than just has it happened,he wants to know how often and if its any good to even try.I gave him the answer truthfully and without any smoke and mirrors to benefit myself in any way.

Your odds of drawing a moose tag are extremely low if you apply with a partner. Your odds of drawing a moose tag are extremely low if you apply as an individual. Apply however you wish. You could get lucky and draw no matter which way you do it.

One important thing to remember if you choose to apply with a partner- I would only apply for the hunts that have at least 10 tags. There are three that have 15. Apply for those. Otherwise you're really hurting your odds if you go for the hunts that only have 2 or 3 tags.

i agree  :yeah: you can always get lucky but on most you have to be drawn first because the second to be drawn can not be a group in any area with less than 4 tags, therefore making group a lot harder to draw than the extremely hard to draw already moose tag.

correction instead of most it needs to be almost half.

Your odds are horrible if you apply as an individual. So what difference does it make? I'm sure the OP can speak for himself. He doesn't need you to put words in his mouth.

I don't know why you are comparing 5 winners too 11k applicants? Doesn't make any sense. But what's new.
