Yeah someone that close and never got to meet him up close but.............'
RIP Batman(Adam West). :'(
Robinson Crusoe on Mars is my favorite B rated sci-fi movie.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

RIP Mr. West you were an excellent ambassador to your profession.

We used to tie a bath towel around our necks and pretend to be Batman when we were kids.
The arguement was who had to be Robin.

Adam West never regretted being Batman.
Remember him dancing with Catwoman?

Raised in Walla Walla.

I have done a bit of research to see if Adam West was ever part of the ROTC Battalion here at the high school (I teach JROTC at Walla Walla High School).    ROTC used to be mandatory for freshman and sophomore boys, unless you were in the marching band.  West moved away from Walla Walla during his junior year.  The old yearbooks don't even list freshman and sophomores.  Never could find out conclusively.
