I think that based on the results, your concoction warrants a new name.  May I suggest Doe Jam, (you thought I was going to say Toe Jam didn't you!)

Not much, about a quart. With all this rain it's hard to make sure it doesn't get washed out.

We put a camera out this week. The last time we put buck jam in this spot was September AND it spent a few weeks under water during the winter. The deer have been all over it anyway.

I Havnt had any luck with blacktail using buckjam! Bear seem to love it and whitetail really love it but blacktail not so much in my area!

Here's a pic from one of my sites, It has been about a month since I last checked this site and unfortunately I had moved my camera to public land so I don't get the chance to see what's been coming.

Bottom line: seems like the deer like this stuff, It'll be interesting to see how long they use this site throughout the summer and fall.

I found ripe apple buck jam. I will give it a try later this month or early July.
Some roads still have snow.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.
