Idaho super hunt deer tag.
« on: June 08, 2017, 06:04:52 PM »
Well got a call today from IDFG, I drew the super hunt tag for deer in any unit open in the state of Idaho. And as if that wasn't good enough, it's the cheapest out of state hunt ever at under 200 bucks, just have to pay for out of state hunting license and archery permit as the tag is free. Now to come up with and execute a good hunt plan.

Don't waste your money on the archery permit. Grab your rifle come over in November and hunt 45.

I've been there once or twice.

The archery hunt in 44 or 45 would be conducive to shooting a giant

The super hunt tag is any hunt. That includes draws. I don't know if you guys understand just what this tag is

That's it any deer season open including controlled hunts.

Buddy killed a 240 velvet buck with his bow a few years back in there. I'd still hunt the rifle season. All those big ones are still in there October

Funny thing is it was just an after thought purchase of 1 deer, 1 elk and 1 antelope. I bought a hell of a lot more moose tickets. I just figure when it comes to stuff like this I'm buying hope and you'r just buying a good feeling for awhile to have that hope. Every now and again it pays off.
