Peaches Ridge Archery Hunt
« on: June 15, 2017, 10:32:48 AM »
Would love a little info on the Peaches Ridge Area. I got lucky this year and am up for any suggestions or info on the area. I'm not against packing into remote areas if they are around.

Thanks in advance

Many choices.   You can take the road in and hunt up.  Go to the towers and take the ridge in high or come in from the west side and over the crest.  You can hunt either the south side or the north side of the unit. I would suggest you make some scouting trips this summer and make your choice.

There is a packer or two that can take you in there as remote as you would like to get.

For a bull, I'd be looking to get as far behind the yellow gates as I could. Although there is plenty of hunting opportunity through out both gmu's. Time to do some leg work and narrow down the area. Congrats! Good luck!

Somehow I lucked out too and got drawn with only 1 point.....if only that could happen for moose :chuckle:

Seriously though, I'm going to scout a lot and plan on living out of a pack for several days in there. Good luck to you guys!
