Went scouting over the 4th. Found a watering hole that wasn't on any maps, GPS  :tup: also a few cows, and two nice spikes. The best part was meeting one of the local ranchers, who gave me some excellent intel on the cows in the area. Going to be a fun season :IBCOOL:

I'll be hunting cows there again.  Do you know what area you plan to hunt? My experience is that most non-bull hunters will give you intel on the bulls they see. There are some great bulls in there.

I'm leaving on August 31 (Thursday) hunt for me begins on Saturday. I will be hunting Southeast of the Clearwater Lookout. PM me if you want to know more specifics...

Well as I was preparing for this years fun I found my 50-70 yrd shots inconsistent. So I though I might need a new string, long story short, I have a 5" crack in my top limb  :yike: Limbs are under warranty so I'll get them, but not before September :(  Went out and shot a bunch of new bows and settled on a new Prime Centergy.
