Just finished up with the biologists at the WDFW office in La Conner. Once you kill a goat you have 10 days to have it checked by a WDFW biologist. They take measurements in centimeters, age, dna sample and location of the kill. I had gps coordinates so that was a bonus.

Conclusion: yep, it's a goat.

Great story, the write up was awesome. Really looking forward to when I can go on my own goat hunt but was nice to read along with yours as I wait. Congrats again on a great hunt and great goat.
