big black bear?

anybody think the bear walking away is a grizz? (looks like a big color phase black bear to me).

i included a good pic of a blackie for perspective...

if you look at the size of the ears compared to the size of the head on the first 2 photos compared to the black bear below them you can tell thats a decent boar. looks like a beautiful color phase bear.

Old bear vs young bear but both are black bears.  Interesting that you got photos of the 2 on the exact same piece of ground.

Two nice bears with in six days of one another.

The first bear doesn't have the hump on the shoulder, nice size bear.
