Sig optics (binos)
« on: April 28, 2017, 08:26:18 AM »
Checked out some Zulu 7's yesterday at cabelas seemed nice.  Compaired them next to a pair of Zeiss conquests and couldn't find a difference besides the zeiss being 300 dollars more.  Anyone have the Sig binos?

I just got the Zulu 7's and love them so far. haven't really gotten out to do any heavy testing with them but they feel great in my hands, the eye cups fit my eyes nicely, and the focus is super smooth.

think they will compare well with the other top brands. cant wait to get out and sit behind them for awhile. ill report back once I put them to the test for longer periods of time!

Did lots of glassing this weekend with the new Zulu 7's helping out on a spring bear hunt. I am super impressed and very pleased with their performance. Eye strain was minimal, clarity was great, and comfort in the hand was awesome as well. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Have not tried the Zulu's yet but that's good to hear. Sig optics are awesome. If you havn't heard the story behind their new optics facility its pretty cool what they did. Stealing top designers and engineers from a top company. Based on who they stole the optics will be top quality for years to come.
