I think this is sound advise ,and a excellent place to start.
I could help ya out with a lot more info , But I'm just crazy    guy that wears the tinfoil hat.Besides I can't tell ya where my illegal salt bait sites.I can tell you goodluck and that's a great tag to have.Truely wishing you luck,You can always go with an outfitter.

Don't have any advice on the unit, but good moose advice is to only glass uphill from the truck.  Hope he finds what he wants, and on the uphill side!
