I am wanting to get the family up there and camp/fish sometime this summer, but was curious when the mosquitos start to thin out?

I'm not sure- but I was there yesterday and they were on me the second I turned my bike off. It got so bad I could hardly finish my beer and sandwich from slapping constantly.

would not have let that deter you. so many pull off's available that I never pay to camp in the GPNF. As far as fishing, lots of ponds to just walk into as well...

The mosquitos thin out at the end of September. Just bring some bug spray and enjoy the area.
