Hey guys.  I'm in if you don't mind another.  I will bring my 18' Alumaweld, open sled.  I can take out a couple of guys.  No idea where to fish for then, but I am sure we can figure it out

When we fish the Palouse we usually go up the river a mile or so and tie off in the weeds against shore. Talk to my dad about it and he said we could bring groups of people up and down the river dropping them off on good holes in our 17' Alumaweld. There is also a little lake that you need to take your boat across the main bay to but then you can hike into it a couple hundred yards and catch limits of triploids if the cats are slow. Not many people do it because of the hassle, nice fish in it.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

There is an marina at Lyons ferry with a camp ground and a bait shop that also has a restaurant that serves good food. They have a big area above everything for camping with tents and a bunch of spots down below for RVs. You would need to reserve one of those spots ahead of time. Down by the water there are a bunch of docks that have bull head and squaw fish under them. The squaws make the best cat bait there is. I've never fished in there after dark, should be a good spot for channels and blues also. Early June most of the cats should be at river mouths, flats or actually up into the rivers spawning.

I think this should be our Eastside Meet...

I'm in too.  I have a little boat with a 10hp and a big cooler.  I had a cousin that lived and worked at the hatchery down there a few years back and we used to do really well fishing for cats and smallies in the Palouse and the Snake.
