Auction!!! The Fallen Outdoors Banquet tickets
« on: July 05, 2017, 04:34:54 PM »
Up for auction is a pair of tickets at a corporate table to The Fallen Outdoors banquet 8/5/2017 in Tacoma, WA.
We have a company who has donated half the price of a corporate table. A couple other folks threw in for a few more seats. We need a few more $$$ to cover the cost of the table...here's the catch. When the auction is over, we will have 3 seats at said table that we will donate to 3 vets so they can go to the banquet free of charge. With the seats, you get a t-shirt, dinner, a couple drink tickets a piece and front row seats. You also get that warm and fuzzy feeling in your belly knowing that you supported an amazing cause. The value of the tickets are $100 a piece. I'm going to open the bidding at $100 for the pair. Again...you're buying 2 seats. There are 5 seats spoken for at the table by me, Rainier10 and his sidekick, and Widgeondeke and his sidekick. The other 3 will go to veterans who want to go. In the event there are more than 3, we'll draw numbers via a random number generator to pick the 3 who get seats.
Post here with a  price.  Payment will be made to my paypal account upon the end of the auction, or you can mail a check to Widgeondeke.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
There are raffles, silent auctions, live auctions, a full bar, and I'm betting several other huntwa members will be in attendance as well.

In the event we end up with more $$ than we need to cover the table, the balance will be donated directly to TFO.

@Widgeondeke
@Rainier10

So bidding would be to "buy" the spots for 3 vets to go?

Hey you forgot to mention that @Russ McDonald , real name Russ McDonald will be at the dinner as well hopefully close to our table.

Hoping to see plenty of Huntwa members come out for a great cause.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Yup I will be there with the wife, daughter and son in law and a couple members from my NWTF chapter.  Can't wait.  :hello:  It is a awesome outfit that takes vets out hunting and fishing.  A lot of these guiding outfits that donate are also veteran owned companies.

It looks like you are bidding on a pair of tickets for yourself.

:yeah: But they are seats at a corporate table versus the standard couple tickets.  The corporate table seats come with more "perks" than the standard single or couple seats I believe.  @jackelope can confirm in a bit.
