Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've posted anything on the forum.
things have just been a bit crazy around here. Anyways the reason I'm posting this it to see if anyone would be willing to help me out. I drew the taneum muzzy cow tag this year and will be starting to scout this upcoming weekend. I've read quite a bit of the previous posts on the unit and it's starting to sound like we might have our work cut out for us. That being said I have no problem burning boot leather to find animals. However this upcoming weekend I will have my 7 and 10 year old with me. So I won't be able to hike as far, long, steep, or as deep as I would like to.
If any of the previous tag holders, or anyone who normally hunts in this unit has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate a response either here or via pm.
On a side note. I'm also looking for recommendations on some place to camp this weekend over in the taneum area. Preferably some place I won't need a reservation. Off the beaten path but accessible by car would be great. If there is water near by to let the kids swim even better
